For your team

What it's like to work in Mira™.

Day-in-the-life scenarios for nurses, billers, social workers, IDG coordinators, and the families you serve.

01 — Nursing

A nurse charts a visit.

The nurse finishes a home visit and opens Mira™ on her phone. She taps the visit note, speaks her assessment aloud, and Mira™'s AI transcribes and structures the note — pulling in the patient's active problem list and flagging any changes in symptom status. She reviews the cleaned draft, corrects one medication name, and taps Sign & Submit. From dictation to signed note: under 60 seconds.

Because the note syncs directly to the clinical record, the supervising clinician sees it within seconds — no fax, no portal upload, no end-of-day batch. The next nurse to visit sees the updated symptom status before she even parks the car.

02 — Billing

A biller works the denial queue.

The biller opens Mira™ and the denial queue is already sorted: oldest unworked denials at the top, grouped by payer and denial reason. She clicks the first row — a duplicate-claim denial — and the AI appeal drafter opens alongside it, pulling payer-specific language from Mira™'s appeal library and attaching the original claim detail and relevant clinical notes in a single pre-populated letter.

She adjusts one sentence, adds the corrected claim number, and submits the appeal directly from the same screen. No manual PDF assembly, no hunting through a shared drive for the original EOB. The denial moves from open to appealed in under three minutes.

03 — Interdisciplinary Group

An IDG coordinator preps for the meeting.

The IDG coordinator opens the meeting prep view 20 minutes before the team convenes. She clicks Generate Brief, and in 8 seconds Mira™ produces a structured clinical summary for every patient on the agenda — current symptom burden, outstanding care plan updates, pending orders, and prior meeting action items that are still open. The brief is formatted for the team to read in the meeting, not for her to assemble beforehand.

During the meeting, Mira™ tracks quorum by role in real time — if the required clinical lead steps out, the coordinator sees it immediately. Action items are captured as the team calls them out, assigned to team members by role, and surfaced in the next meeting's prep brief automatically.

04 — Social work & family

A social worker tracks family touchpoints.

When a patient is discharged, the bereavement timeline starts on its own — no manual trigger. The social worker already has the next 13 months mapped out: scheduled check-ins, milestone dates, and tasks she's set for herself. She doesn't have to remember any of it because Mira™ is remembering it for her.

Families keep access to the portal after discharge. They can still read care summaries, upload documents, and reach out — and for families who are more comfortable in Spanish, Mira™'s bilingual chatbot is there for the simple questions. That means the social worker's time goes to the hard conversations that only she can have, not to answering the same three questions by phone five times a week.

05 — QAPI & compliance

A QAPI coordinator runs the quarterly export.

The QAPI coordinator clicks Export for Q2. Mira™ compiles all six 42 CFR 418.58 elements — organizational structure, process, patient outcomes, performance indicators, PI projects, and governing body oversight — into a structured report formatted for the survey binder. No spreadsheet, no copy-paste from three different systems. The export is ready in seconds.

If a performance indicator is trending toward its threshold, the coordinator sees it in the dashboard before the quarter closes — not after the survey visit. Drill-down by indicator shows the individual encounters driving the trend, so the improvement project has actual data behind it, not a guess.

Getting started

How long until your team is productive?

Mira™'s onboarding is structured so each role is productive within days of going live — not after a multi-month rollout. Here's what a typical onboarding looks like:

  • Week 1

Clinical team trained on mobile visit documentation. First visits charted on day 2. Nurses using the app in the field before the end of the first week.

  • Week 2

Billers running the denial queue. Existing accounts receivable migrated in parallel — no gap in billing operations while the transition happens.

  • Week 4

First IDG meeting with an AI prep brief. QAPI dashboard populated from clinical data already in the system. No manual data entry to get the first report.

  • Month 3

Full team independent. Mira™'s onboarding lead steps back to a monthly check-in. All five workflows running without hand-holding.
